Hall of Fame National Invitational

The National Invitational is the only NCAA-sanctioned tournament in New England during the month of July. This event has hosted national teams such as Florida Rams, New Heights, Grassroots Canada, Team Philly, Metro Hawks (NY), Long Island Lightning, HP Elite (Louisiana), Illinois Wolves, Delaware Sharpshooters, BABC, New England Playaz, and many more. TOURNAMENT INFO

  • July 11-12th, 2010 (Sunday, Monday)
  • Age groups 15u-17u
  • LIVE tournament, which will be NCAA Sanctioned for Division I, II, and III college coaches. Top teams from around the country will be invited.  New England Recruiting Service, NE Hoop News, Rivals.com and Scout.com will be invited.

  • Springfield College (8 Air-conditioned courts)

  • Holyoke Community College (3 courts/ NOT A/C)
  • Westfield State College (3 courts/ NOT A/C)
  • Single-court facilities in surrounding area (Air-conditioned)

FORMAT

  • 17u - 1st 48 teams will be accepted into tournament
  • 16u - 1st 36 teams will be accepted
  • 15u - 1st 24 teams will be accepted

All teams will be guaranteed to continue playing (in a single-elimination bracket) after pool play is complete.

NCAA INFORMATION - Must be completed July 1st

Before participating in an NCAA-certified event, all participating coaches will have to complete and be approved through the NCAA Participant Approval for Operators and Coaches administered by LexisNexis and each team will have to be registered in the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS).

To begin your approval and team registration process, you must first apply for an approval number, which will be given to you by the NCAA after a background check.  You must allow a minumum of 7 business days for this process to be completed. 3rd Step - Submit team roster to BasketBull

4th Step - Pay for tournament

COACHES - Because of multiple events during this same time period, hotel accomodations were very difficult to secure.  Please make reservations ASAP to secure your team's rooms.
