Tournament Info

  • July 11-12th, 2008 - There will be games Friday during the day and Saturday during the day with championships being played later in the day on Saturday.
  • Age groups 14u-17u
  • Live tournament, which will be NCAA Sanctioned for Division I, II, and III college coaches. Top teams from around the country will be invited. Hoopscoop, New England Recruiting Service, Recruit Rader and Scout.com will be invited.

Sites

  • 2008 - Westfield State College (3 courts) = 17u Division and Holyoke Community College (3 courts) = 17/16u Divisions.

FORMAT

  • 14u - 17u Teams. 3 team pools with all teams advancing to bracket play following pool games.
  • 17u - 1st 48 teams will be accepted into tournament
  • 15u/16u - 1st 24 teams will be accepted
  • 14u - 1st 12 teams will be accepted

All teams will be guaranteed to continue playing (in a single-elimination bracket) after pool play is complete.

NCAA

  • Coach Certification: ALL COACHES of 15U Boys, 16U Boys, 17U Boys, must have a valid NCAA Approval number in order to coach at this event. You are allowed 2 coaches per team.   • NCAA Team Registration: The NCAA requires all coaches of 15U Boys, 16U Boys, 17U Boys, teams to enter their rosters online. To enter your roster with the NCAA:
    • Go to http://web1.ncaa.org/BBCS/exec/login/
    • Click here for instructions on how to complete the online team registration.
    • Be sure to check off the HoopHall Summer Showcase on your list of Team Events so that we have access to your roster. This information will appear in our college coaches packets at the tournament, so please keep your roster updated.
  • Adjoining State Rule: All men's prospective student athletes participating in an NCAA-certified team event must reside in: (1) the same state as their team's official address; or (2) an adjoining state, provided that no more than three team member(s) reside in adjoining states. This rule applies to US as well as foreign teams.
