Hall of Fame Girls Summer Shootout

July 25-27th, 2008

Age groups 13u-16/17u

Live tournament, NCAA Sanctioned for Division I, II, and III college coaches. Top teams from around the country will be invited. Why travel outside of your area for a tournament when so many colleges are right here in New England. All Division I, II and III colleges will be invited.

Sites

Greater Springfield area - Springfield College (air-conditioned), Holyoke Community College (will have A/C). Top notch facilities, especially for exposure event.

FORMAT

4 game guarantee for all teams participating in the tournament.

All division winners will receive a free invite to 2009 Hall of Fame "Spring Classic".

NCAA

1. Coach Certification: ALL COACHES of 14u, 15u, 16u and 17u GIRLS teams, must have a valid NCAA Approval number in order to coach at this event. You are allowed 2 coaches per team. 2. NCAA Team Registration: The NCAA requires all coaches of teams to enter their rosters online. To enter your roster with the NCAA:

Be sure to check off the Hall of Fame "Girls Summer Shootout" on your list of Team Events so that we have access to your roster. This information will appear in our college coaches packets at the tournament, so please keep your roster updated.

3. Adjoining State Rule: All men's prospective student athletes participating in an NCAA-certified team event must reside in: (1) the same state as their team's official address; or (2) an adjoining state, provided that no more than three team member(s) reside in adjoining states. This rule applies to US as well as foreign teams.

Red Roof Inn - Enfield, CT (6 miles from downtown Springfield. Located about 10 minutes from the Hall of Fame, the Red Roof Inn offers a less expensive alternative for lodging. The Red Roof was recently renovated in 2007. Please contact Beth at 860-741-2571 and mention the Hall of Fame "Junior Nationals". Hotel rates are $69.99.
